Diana Montalvo, CPA, began her career in 1989 as a full time entry level accountant at a fortune 500 firm while attending a full time curriculum at York College, City University of New York. After graduation, she went on to work in the banking industry as an auditor specializing in collateral audits where she gained valuable experience in a multitude of industries such as retail, manufacturing and consumer services. That journey led her to Deloitte & Touche where she worked as an auditor for seven years. After Deloitte & Touche, Diana continued on to work in the financial and retail industries as a manager in accounting and continued to expand her knowledge of accounting. In her 20 plus years of experience she has remained dedicated to expanding her knowledge in business and accounting. Her natural leadership qualities, ability to interact with clients and passion for what she does is what has led to her success in her private practice. She enjoys working with small businesses, imparting her knowledge to business owners and helping them through the process of expanding their business from the ground up; their success is her reward. Diana earned her Bachelors Degree in Accounting in 1993 from York College, City University of New York. She is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor. |

Judy Montreuil, CPA, love for numbers and business began early in her childhood, when her mom opened a bank account for her. She vividly remembers insisting on handling her own banking transactions though not tall enough to reach the teller's window. This curiosity of money and business led to a career in accounting & finance. In 1995, Judy began her career at a small to medium size CPA firm as an auditor and tax preparer where she gained valuable experience in many industries such as apparel, retail and graphics. She continued her career in finance at a Fortune 500 consumer goods company as a Sr. Finance Manager providing financial support to various business units. Judy's 15 years in finance, accounting and auditing gives her a broad range of business experience, which is pertinent to helping small business owners grow their business. Her dedication to her clients and the rapport she has with them are the joys of her private practice. Success for Judy is helping her clients' progress and accomplish their business goals. Judy earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from York College, City University of New York in 1994, while working full time. In addition, she is a Certified Public Accountant in New York and a Certified Quickbooks ProAdvisor. Judy is an active member and Treasurer of Ladydoves Self Enrichment Organization, a non-profit organization that provides assistance to school age children and young adults. |

Diana and Judy met as students at York College and created a friendship that has withstood the test of time. In 2005 they both realized there was a demand for competent accountants to focus on small to medium sized businesses and thus Montalvo & Montreuil was born. Together they work to provide their clients with the highest quality accounting and professional services.
